Mango Green Smoothie Bowl

banana mango green smoothie bowl // raw, vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free

I just love a fresh, cold smoothie bowl for breakfast during the summer. It’s the perfect way to start the day in my opinion! Every time I have one, I feel so good and energized after. Not only are smoothie bowls super filling, but also they’re incredibly versatile. They’re like a work of art. The base is a canvas of blended fruit and you fill it up with all the toppings your heart desires. If you’re looking to sneak the veggies into your day, this banana mango green smoothie bowl really hits the spot!

A smoothie bowl is more thick & creamy than a smoothie, so you can scoop it up with a spoon.

I honestly prefer smoothie bowls because it’s just more enjoyable to me to eat it rather than drink it. It ends up almost the consistency of ice cream: creamy, smooth, and oh-so enjoyable. With all the toppings options, you really have endless possibilities.

I don’t have a juicer, so I stick to the blender or food processor when it comes time to make breakfast. This delicious green smoothie bowl consists of: frozen banana, mango, strawberries, spinach, and almond milk. It’s really that simple, and made with only fruit meaning it’s a raw, vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free treat.

If you’ve ever had any doubts about green smoothies, trust me you won’t even taste the spinach at all.

I had the same worry going into it, because I’d had green juice plenty of times and couldn’t imagine it in smoothie form. But with the frozen banana, mango, and strawberries, really this smoothie bowl tastes like a slice of paradise. Besides breakfast, I enjoy smoothie bowls as pre- or post-workout fuel or oftentimes as a snack.

I sprinkled my absolute, favorite go-to classic rawnola on top along with fresh banana slices. If you haven’t tried rawnola before, you’ve really got to give it a go because I think it’s life changing. Basically, I put it on top of anything and everything I can, like my mango lassi smoothie bowlberry cherry smoothie bowl, and caramel banana ice cream sundae. It’s like magical fairy dust. It just makes everything so much better.

So if you’re wanting to try a green smoothie bowl, this is a great place to start. It’ll blow your mind away how good you feel afterwards. I can’t stress enough how important a good morning is when it comes to setting the tone for the rest of my day. I’m so hooked on them too! I’m totally on board with you, I’ll definitely be making them year round too 🙂 The more toppings the better in my opinion!! They’re so filling and I feel amazing after eating them. Plus, it’s so fun to play around with different fruits and toppings. Thank you Casey 🙂
