I really feel so bad that I keep having to apologize over and over again, but I’m so sorry. I know I’ve been kind of AWOL here lately and I hope you’ll let me explain. Life has just been so crazy busy, chaotic, and overwhelming lately. I know that’s no excuse, but I’ve barely had time to do anything besides work, eat, and sleep. I had a business catastrophe that I couldn’t fix the week before I left for London, then I was out of town, and now I’ve been playing catch-up with my company doing all the production. I know it doesn’t help that I took a vacation in the midst of the struggle, but I really needed it. It forced me to put my big girl pants on and get sh** done when I got back (for lack of a better way of putting it).

I’ve decided that once a month I’m going to do a ‘link love’ sharing my favorite recipes and articles that grab my attention. I think this will be a fun way to showcase some of my other fellow plant-based bloggers, keep my creative juices flowing, and bring a little pleasant change to the blog! To start it off, I’m totally drooling over these pecan praline bars with salted chocolate by Emily who was one of the lovely ladies that first inspired me to start my blog.
I’d just like to draw attention to the fact that, because we live in Hong Kong, my boyfriend has to wake up at 1am and 4am on Monday morning to watch Sunday night football. I even sometimes watch it with him to help cheer on his fantasy football players. We are fully aware that this is completely crazy. As ridiculous as it may sound, I kind of enjoy it. I can’t believe I’m admitting it, but the football lover and ex-high school cheerleader in me just can’t go without it. In the spirit of football season, I’ve rounded up these 5 totally delicious, vegan recipes that would be perfect for snacking on while watching football.
