It’s hard to believe that Fourth of July is already upon us! With all the impending BBQ celebrations to think about, I’ve rounded up these 10 delicious, tasty vegan recipes that are perfect for celebrating Fourth of July with friends, family, and loved ones. I feel like summer has just begun, yet in less than 2 weeks we’ll be heading off to Italy. Somebody please pinch me. I can’t wait to delve into all the Italian vegan food, but before then I will be celebrating Fourth of July at home with my boyfriend and hopefully at least 4 (or all!) of the following yummy vegan dishes.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that all I ate in France was sushi. No joke, I had sushi every night for dinner and sometimes even twice a day if I was in the mood for a sushi lunch. I didn’t realize how popular sushi was in France until I went there and saw it for myself. Plus, besides sushi and the occasional build-your-own salad bar, it was incredibly difficult to find vegan options. Not necessarily in Paris, but when we were road tripping around the French Riviera nobody seemed to know what veganism was. So, sushi was my go-to because it’s always a safe option. I’ve really been missing all the vegetarian/vegan sushi I had in France, so I’ve rounded up these 5 vegan-friendly sushi recipes to curb my cravings.
French fries anyone? Baked sweet potato fries, that is. You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to make crispy, homemade fries! I literally can’t remember the last time I went out and bought french fries. It’s just so much better making them at home, where you can add all sorts of spices & include all sorts of sauces on the side. Think of it as a “customize-your-own-fries” workshop. Today, I’m sharing with you my favorite recipe for perfectly delicious baked sweet potato fries!
