You may be sick of hearing this, but I’m really super duper excited for our upcoming trip to Italy. It’s t-minus 6 days until we leave! I can’t believe the moment has finally arrived when my childhood dream of riding around on a vespa in Italy comes true. Let’s be real, ever since I saw the Lizzie McQuire movie, I imagined a summer spent pretending to be an Italian pop star, listening to Italian music, and eating loads of carbs. As I get ready to pack, I’ve rounded up this list of my top 6 “must-haves” for a summer euro trip.
It’s sporadically hot & sunny one second and then raining the next second here in Hong Kong! I’ve still managed to bang out my 5 mile daily morning run, but my cravings have slowly but surely started to change. I blame it on the weather (only teasing!). I’ll get more into my appetite changes below, but for the time being I’m loving this easy, 4-ingredient raw vegan cinnamon peanut butter nice cream. It’s a great way to get a healthy, extra dose of protein in post-workout!
I’m a big juice person. Forget about juice cleansing, I mean the “sipping cold juice on a simmering hot, sunny day” type of juice drinking. Now that it’s over 80 degrees on the daily here in Hong Kong, I’ve been getting my juice on. I’m not shy of drinking all the fruits and veggies, so I whipped up this extra green, detox juice.
