It’s another food-related Sunday for me! I can’t believe I almost forgot that St. Patrick’s Day is coming up this Thursday. I think because I’m living in Hong Kong now, some of the lesser known holidays slip me by since people don’t celebrate them here. But I’m the type of person to never ever let an excuse to celebrate pass me by! So I’ve rounded up four delicious matcha-flavored recipes that are all vegan & gluten-free.
I’ve totally health-ified one of my favorite snacks that I loved as a kid: rice crispy treats. These are made with only 3 ingredients: brown rice cereal, brown rice syrup, and matcha powder. I added the green matcha powder in honor of St. Patrick’s Day coming up on Thursday, plus it’s got loads of health benefits which I’ll get to later.
