Wish List Wednesday // Fall Feels

fall feels Finally, it feels like fall in Hong Kong! It’s been a long time coming, but the weather has decided to cool of a bit. It’s now 68 degrees Fahrenheit, instead of the usual 80+ degrees. Sure, by many people’s standards this might not be considered cool weather, but trust me I’m not complaining. I’ll take what I can get. I’m now whipping out my cozy knit sweaters, blasting Christmas music, and baking all the cookies that I want. If you ask me, the fall season is officially in full swing!

You know the saying “you always want what you can’t have”? I know that it doesn’t always have the most positive connotation, but I’m really lusting after these gorgeous, dreamy outdoor patios. Don’t get me wrong, I am lucky and blessed for everything I have. But I still wish with all my heart that I had an outdoor patio where I could sit and drink tea, read a book, and enjoy the fresh air. A girl has to have something to work towards anyways, right? I was spoiled to have a little balcony during our stay in Saint Tropez, which made me realize just how nice it is to be able to sit outdoors in your own space. It’s such a simple luxury that I took for granted before and never will again.

Wish List Wednesday // Hippie Hideaway

hippie hideaway I’m sitting here in the dim light of my bedroom, with the white curtains drawn and a Halsey record playing on the portable black record player we got in London. The only light comes from the cream & brown globe lights that I’ve strung above our bed. I’m in my most comfortable of clothes wearing ankle socks that have flamingos & space ships on them which I bought from Target. I lit a small soy candle that my parents got me, curled up on my bed, and dug my nose into the book I’m reading. Suddenly it hit me, I was in my own hippie hideaway.
