It’s September! And even though it’s still 80 degrees and humid here in Hong Kong, I can’t help but secretly be super excited for fall. I mentally consider seasons to have arrived probably way earlier than most normal people. Growing up, my mom used to put out different holiday decorations each month. So following my birthday on August 30th, she’d break out the pumpkins, autumn leaf garlands, and fall hand towels. I hope you’re on board with me here with my 6 tips for how to start properly celebrating fall!

It’s the month of LOVE. Which to me means a lot of things: self-love, family, friends, relationships, flowers, chocolate, and ice cream all come to mind. With Valentine’s Day sneaking up on us, it means we will be bombarded with all things red and pink. I’ve always been on the “pro-Valentine’s Day” team mostly due to my never ending love for chocolate, balloons, pretty flowers, and sweets.
But this year, I want to take some extra special time for a Galentine’s Day celebrating all the powerful women I know and love. Here’s some inspo for the perfect Galentine’s Day party!

After a couple of initial days back feeling homesick, getting over jet-lag, and complaining about it, I came to a greater realization that I just needed to put my big girl panties on and get back to work. Once I completed all the orders I needed to fill last week and caught up on my blog, I instantly felt so much better. I was back in my routine here in Hong Kong, but the time flew by and I was able to actually have one of the best weekends ever. Speaking of weekends, I’ve been totally swooning over this “la-la land” color scheme that has me gearing up, ready for spring, and wanting to celebrate just being alive.
