I was inspired this week to make more free wallpapers that you can use to dress your tech! I just wanted to say sorry again for going all MIA, but as I mentioned before I traveled to Ubud in Bali last week with my boyfriend to celebrate my 23rd birthday. It’s so funny to me how extravagant of a birthday it was and I’m still blown away by it. I feel so grateful and happy beyond words, because it was truly a magical trip. I feel not only so much more connected to my boyfriend, but also more in tune with myself. If you’re wondering what I mean by that, I’ll go into more detail below. Click through to download the free wallpapers!
You never get anywhere without hard work. I’ve learned this lesson time and time again whenever I try to take the easy or lazy route. Sure, there are shortcuts out there, but it’s only through hard work and determination that I’m ever able to reach my goals. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from running my own small business in Hong Kong, it’s that you have to really work hard in order to find success in this competitive world. You can’t give up easily or be discouraged by small setbacks. If being an entrepreneur was easy, everyone would be doing it!
A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.
Roald Dahl wrote this in his book The Twits. If you’ve never read Roald Dahl before, he’s a really popular British children’s author & novelist. He’s most well known for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which I’m sure you’ve heard of or at the very least seen one of the movie adaptations. I love his works, because they ring true for people of all ages. Plus they’re clever, funny, imaginative, and all around wonderful.
