It’s the month of LOVE. Which to me means a lot of things: self-love, family, friends, relationships, flowers, chocolate, and ice cream all come to mind. With Valentine’s Day sneaking up on us, it means we will be bombarded with all things red and pink. I’ve always been on the “pro-Valentine’s Day” team mostly due to my never ending love for chocolate, balloons, pretty flowers, and sweets.
When it comes to Christmas movies, Elf has to be my all-time favorite. It’s such a classic that leaves me rolling around laughing out loud every single time I watch it. No matter how much I’ve seen it, I still love it all the same. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is when Buddy goes to work with his dad for the first time. He picks up the phone right when it rings and says,
Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?
Since we’re going out of town for most of December, we didn’t want to spend too much money on a big Christmas tree this year. But I just couldn’t stand going without one, so me and Julian negotiated and settled on getting a small 4 foot tree.
