Happy (almost!) Easter! I’m flying to Thailand for the long weekend with my boyfriend. Julian wants some sun and to enjoy his last holiday off work for a while. I couldn’t argue with that! Also, it’s his birthday this month, so really anything goes haha. Anyways, while we’re having a tropical Easter, I’m dreaming of simple ways to livey it up and make an unconventional twist on the traditional Easter. Hope you enjoy these tips for how to throw a fun (and simple!) Easter party!
I’d probably be better off saying these are vegan alternatives to Reese’s peanut butter cups. But you get the point! Basically, Reese’s were my favorite Halloween candy by far when I was a kid. After trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, my best friend Eileen and I would go back to my house and dump out all our candy on the floor and count it. Those BIG Reese’s cups were always the best surprise! And quite rare, because most people handed out smaller-sized candy. I cherised those peanut butter cups like they were shining trophies. Just because I’m vegan, I’m not going to miss out on my favorite candy, so I’ve rounded up these 5 easy, vegan Reese’s peanut butter cup recipes!
These raw vegan Snickers slices are healthier versions of the original candy bar. Filled with all-natural, plant-based ingredients, they pack the same delicious punch with three layers of pure decadence. You’ve got a coconut cashew base topped with peanut butter date caramel topped off with homemade peanut butter swirled raw chocolate. The reason for such an indulgent treat? I wanted to revamp my popular original raw snickers bars recipe, which was one of the first raw vegan dessert recipes that I posted on my blog over a year ago.
