Celebrate Every Tiny Victory

celebrate every tiny victory

Celebrate every tiny victory. Any accomplishment, big or small, is worth celebrating. I’ve always been a dreamer, the type of person that reaches for the stars. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you really have to work hard to turn your dreams into reality. Look at all the success stories out there. Most of the time, those people didn’t get where they are by sitting around and waiting for things to happen. They made it happen. Along the way, there will always be road blocks and speed bumps you have to jump over in the journey towards reaching your goal. But that’s what makes every tiny victory so special and rewarding.

I’ve been trying to celebrate the tiny victories in my life more often. It’s the little goals I set for myself that keep me motivated, encouraged, and inspired to keep moving and reaching for my dreams. One goal I set for myself this year was to keep up with my regular, daily run, despite all the moving and big changes in my life. For me, running is a constant in my life that I cling on to. It’s therapeutic for me.

Yes, it’s really good exercise and good for my health, but also it allows me to reflect and think.

It’s the one time during the day where I’m not connected to the Internet or checking on social media. It really helps me to clear my head. It’s often during my runs that big waves of inspiration and creative ideas hit me. I run around 3.25 miles every morning and it’s a little victory that I get to celebrate every day.

What are your tiny victories?

What’s something that you can celebrate? Be proud of yourself because every step in the right direction is one step closer than you were before. It may be something small, something you do every day like trying to conserve water by not leaving the faucet running or spending every Monday eating only plant-based meals. Whatever it is, give yourself credit because you deserve it. Every little thing makes a difference.
