Tasty Tuesday // October Link Love

I’ve decided that once a month I’m going to do a ‘link love’ sharing my favorite recipes and articles that grab my attention. I think this will be a fun way to showcase some of my other fellow plant-based bloggers, keep my creative juices flowing, and bring a little pleasant change to the blog! To start it off, I’m totally drooling over these pecan praline bars with salted chocolate by Emily who was one of the lovely ladies that first inspired me to start my blog.

Since it’s October, I think it’s more than necessary to share some vegan Halloween-themed treats. Nothing gets me in the spooky spirit more than whipping up vegan desserts, candy, and all things pumpkin-flavored in the kitchen. I love kicking back and indulging in sweets while watching a creepy, crawly movie like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, or Hocus Pocus. I guess you could say it’s a Halloween tradition of mine.

Here’s some links that totally rocked my socks off this month:

These chocolate pretzel caramel apples by Faring Well remind me of fall carnivals.

Ashlae’s proclamations about the necessity of brown sugar for these coconut oil cinnamon rolls. LOL.

This 8-year-old girl speaks the truth about the problems with gender-oriented clothing. You go girl!

I literally ate sushi twice a day for the past 5 days. Soooo yeah, this is me.

Nobody says it quite like Dr. Seuss does!

Give me ALL the adorable pumpkins. Can somebody make them for me please?

Oh my goodness, Cara has me going crazy over all her uber creative allergy-friendly Halloween food.

This DIY costume line-up is everything.
