I actually used to believe in leprechauns when I was growing up. Like the green ones that come out only on St. Patrick’s Day. I know, as ridiculous as it sounds, my mom was just that clever when in came to the holidays. She always went all-out for me and my brother, and St. Patrick’s Day was no exception. On that note, here are 4 fun DIY ideas to help your St. Paddy’s Day come to life.
Here are 4 cute DIY ideas for St. Patrick’s Day:
- Get crafty and make these mini balloon wands in the shape of a shamrock.
- Download these “Kiss Me I’m Irish” free printables and pair them with wax lips to give out at work or school as a treat!
- Leave these free printable leprechaun notes around the house with little treats and have kids (or adults!) search for them throughout the day.
- Grab your girlfriends and a bottle of wine and make these St. Patrick’s Day clover crowns together.
I remember we used to lay out “leprechaun traps” in our front yard which was basically a bunch of popsicle sticks, some sort of door, and a treat to lure them in. Then, in the morning, the door of the trap would be shut and there would be a surprise in their waiting for us. Not a pot of gold, but some candy or little toys. I eventually realized that leprechauns weren’t real, but I never lost sight of the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. All it takes is some rainbow colors, golden hues, and pretty greens plus a little imagination to make it something special.
I thought these 4 cute DIY ideas for St. Patrick’s Day all looked really fun! So, I hope you’ll give them a go and be sure to check out these 5 matcha latte recipes and my matcha caramel truffles. Both are perfect for serving at a St. Patrick’s Day party!
