Red, White & Blue

BIG news everyone! It’s bittersweet but I’ve officially made the move from Los Angeles back home to Atlanta, Georgia. For the time being, I’ll be living at home to regroup and reconnect with what inspires me and motivates me. I most definitely want to continue to share my journey with you all over the next couple of weeks. I just wanted to say thank you for being patient sticking around to support me during this transition.

Here are 5 fun red, white & blue themed DIYs:

Kids love pinatas, but let me let you in on a little secret: adults love them too. Fill it with candy or spice it up for an adults-only party.

2. 4th of July Rocket Cake Toppers

These rocket cake toppers are super cute. If you know someone who’s birthday falls around July 4th, then this cake would make the perfect double duty celebration cake.

3. Fourth of July Favor Bags

These patriotic flag favor bags are perfect for packing up festive treats. Think candy, stickers, or anything you want.

4. Fourth of July Drinking Straws

I’d definitely use eco-friendly straws and put the stars on them. Or you could do this with metal straw.

5. Printable July 4th Sparkler Labels

All you have to do is print out these sparkler labels, cut a slit in them, and slide your sparklers through. An easy DIY that’s super cute too!

I can’t believe that in just 3 days I managed to pack up all my belongings into boxes and suitcases, sell my car, find someone to take over the lease on my downtown L.A. loft, and actually make it back home in time to watch Fourth of July fireworks with my family. I definitely could not have done it without my dad, who came out to help me make the big move. It’s been a whirlwind and definitely happened a lot faster than I ever imagined it would. But this is a step that I really needed to take and I’m hoping it’s for the best.

I definitely can’t predict the future, but for now I’m just counting my blessings.  I’m so incredibly thankful for my amazing family, loving boyfriend, loyal friends, and the supportive community all around me. I’m planning on taking it a day at a time and for now that’s more than good enough for me!
