Happy Halloween! I love the days leading up to Halloween. We’ve got all our super creepy crawly Halloween decorations out, from a light-up pumpkin to our Halloween tea towels on the oven to a Halloween banner hanging in front of the windows by our TV. I made it a point so that everywhere you look in our apartment, there’s some sort of Halloween decoration. Not to mention every day I’ve had to beg my fiance to watch a Halloween movie with me (don’t even get me started on my favorite Harry Potter movie marathon). I love these 6 spooktacular grown-up Halloween party ideas that would be a super fun way to bring your friends together!

1. Elegant Gold Halloween Dinner Party
Proof that Halloween can be spooky & glamorous at the same time. I love the idea of infusing black champagne glasses with gold cutlery and candelabras. And just look at all those soft florals! All your gal pals will be begging to be invited to this halloween party.

2. All-black Everything
If you’re wanting something a little more dark and daring, try going all-black for your dinner affair. Add a couple of skulls, black table settings, and crystal glasses for a sophisticated and creepy touch.

3. Dark & Dramatic Al-Fresco Dinner
Take your party outdoors for this haunting and romantic atmosphere. With a black color palette and whimsical accents, this moody dinner table would be a great setting for a “murder mystery” party. I’m especially a fan of the tapered candles and greenery table runner.

4. Floral & Minimal Halloween Bar Cart
This floral DIY spooky floral bar cart totally took me by surprise. Sure, we usually think spiders and cobwebs when it comes to Halloween, but the use of flowers really livens up the whole mood. It still feels eerie with the dark colors, but is for the more light hearted Halloween party-goers out there.

5. Skeleton Dinner Table
If you’re someone who prefers to keep it simple, try throwing a skeleton on the middle of your dinner table. Then, surround it with flowers and you’re done. This is a not-too-creepy idea that’s very kid-friendly and fun. Plus it’s stress-free!

6. Black & White Ghoul-full Bash
This black & white Halloween bash full of ghost balloons and paper bats has “me” written all over it. I can’t get enough of the empty fireplace filled with ghosts and marble balloons. It has to be the cutest Halloween mantle I’ve ever seen! From the cobweb cookies to the skull cake pops, it’d be really fun party for kids (or kids-at-heart like me!).
I hope you love these 6 grown-up Halloween party ideas! I tried to thrown in a mix from the super-creepy to the more delicate for all types of temperaments. Only 2 weeks left until Halloween, can you believe it?
