Eat more plants. I’ve been plant-based/vegan for the past 6 years. When I was in university, I got really sick with the worst stomach ache to the point where I was throwing up after I ate anything. I went to the doctor and they told me to cold turkey cut out dairy products. At the time, I was not a big meat eater. However, I ate a heavy dairy-based diet: cheese, ice cream, buttery pastries, etc.
Since I was living in Los Angeles at the time, I started to eat vegan dishes because I knew it was 100% dairy-free. After a couple of weeks, my energy levels skyrocketed and I started to feel so much better. My digestions improved drastically. Also, I no longer needed to nap. Also, I started exercising again and fell in love with running.
Fast forward to now, I’m incredibly passionate about sharing my love for creating simple, delicious vegan recipes. I’m here to show that vegan food can taste super yummy and anyone can cook vegan. Honestly, I would not consider myself a chef. One of the biggest complaints I hear is people don’t have time to cook healthy food. I’m here to show that’s not the case. All of my recipes are made with less than 8 ingredients in under 30 minutes (for the most part!). I love baking and have a major sweet tooth. I use all pantry staples and no fancy equipment, shopping as cheaply as I can to show you it can be affordable too!
